LOCAL BUSINESS RISES ABOVE TOUGH ECONOMIC TIMES, HIRES 10+ ASSOCIATES IN Q4
Fourth Quarter Growth at Business Strategy, Inc. Leads to Multiple Hirings

Grand Rapids, MI – November 23, 2010. Organizations throughout Michigan are feeling the effects of the difficult economic climate, but one local company is rising above the tide. Business Strategy, Inc. has not only been surviving this rough season, but has seen continued significant growth. The month of November has already seen ten new hires, five of whom filled newly created positions; the other five jobs were a mix of positions vacated by departures or attrition. In addition to these ten positions, Business Strategy is interviewing to fill three other open positions.

The news of these thirteen positions comes the same week as Michigan lawmakers announced the end of unemployment benefit extensions and only a few months after Business Strategy was named to the Michigan Business & Professional Association’s “West Michigan’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For,” an annual honor that is highly sought after by businesses throughout the region. This is the fourth consecutive year Business Strategy, Inc. has made the list.

For over two decades, Business Strategy has been partnering with other businesses to improve and streamline operations. Business Strategy provides procure to pay audit recovery and process enhancement through their contingency based post audit review and their AP Automation solutions.  Business Strategy has assisted more than a thousand companies with improving their business processes and bottom line. Headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Business Strategy, Inc. has associates around the country, with sales offices in Atlanta, Chicago, Boston, Cleveland, and Phoenix. Business Strategy is still managed by the original three partners, with the help of more than 125 professional associates.

It comes as no surprise to the associates of Business Strategy that the company has continued to thrive even through Michigan’s tough economic times. Business Strategy, Inc. has gained wide recognition in their industry - and an impressive list of clients – by improving back office operations, but their strength has always been their people. “The leadership at Business Strategy lets you know you are appreciated.” Says Teri Peters, Auditor, “They say ‘thanks’ often; I’ve been at other companies where that does not happen.” Admin Team Leader, LeAnne Hoekstra adds, “The Partners at Business Strategy truly appreciate the company and our associates.”

“Business Strategy invests in us,” says Contract Auditor, Jonathan Ward who joined the company in early 2009. “They ensure we get certified and stay certified – it says a lot to us and to the customer.” Charlie Fayon, CEO, added, “Our entire management team is dedicated to improving and enhancing each and every associate’s personal and professional status.”

And the trend at Business Strategy seems to be continuing. Growth projections estimate an additional 8% - 12% expansion in the first half of 2011; which could translate to the organization adding up to 15 new positions before the end of July.

“After interviewing with other potential employers, Business Strategy was the clear choice,” commented Joel Blanchard. “It was obvious Business Strategy worked very hard to create a great environment and the employees displayed a culture of unity – a team working toward a common goal.” Blanchard started with Business Strategy in early November as an Automation Specialist.

“For most of our associates, Business Strategy feels like family,” says Dan Geelhoed, President & COO, “we have so many associates that have been here for multiple years and each one points to the environment and their fellow associates as the main reasons they work here.”
